Are blue light glasses safe?

I want to wear blue light glasses. Are blue light glasses safe?

Yes, but they should not be worn all the time. You need blue light especially in the morning and midday for many biological reasons. Not all blue light glasses are the same, so its hard to advise you except generally. There are nutritional supplements that protect your eyes better than blue light glasses. Your eyes are made for light, but they are happiest when things are changing. Staring at a computer screen is hard on your eyes even with blue light glasses. Take frequent breaks and do activities that involve movement as often as you can. Your eyes will thank you! Marisa Sent from my iPhone
Blue blocking lenses are safe.
"Is there any benefit to blue light glasses?
Some blue light glasses may help filter out some artificial blue light, but no, there's no real benefit to wearing them.
You’re not getting any extra protection or health benefits because the blue light wasn’t harming you to begin with.

“There is currently no evidence that blue light or screens are causing any irreversible, permanent damage, which is why the American Academy of Ophthalmology does not recommend any special eyewear for computer use," says Maturi.

Some people may feel a little bit more sensitive to blue light from our screens and monitors. ... The reality is blue light is healthy and safe, and it is not going to harm our eyes. (same website)
