This eye twitching is a somewhat common problem that is called myokymia that is caused by several factors. These include excess caffeine use hopefully you are not a coffee drinker!, visual stress which can include doing a lot of close work, the need for an eyeglass prescription because someone may be straining or squinting, using bright lights which can cause eye dryness, and eye irritation from dust or allergies can also cause myokymia. I do not believe that there is any connection to singing, watching videos, or listening to music with headphones. If you are watching videos up close and if things get blurry at any time, this may be an indication that you should talk to your parents about seeing an eye doctor. And possibly a pair of glasses, if needed, may reduce your eyevisual stress and eliminate the twitching. There are also some medical conditions that can cause the eye twitching, so this may be something that you want to discuss with your family doctor or your pediatrician. And if you are not getting enough sleep, this can contribute to the possibility that the eye twitching is caused by lack of sleep. Some people have eyes that are dry, especially when playing video games. Overthecounter preservativefree artificial tears can certainly help this problem. My suggestion to you is to show this information to your parents, make an appointment with an eye doctor or your family doctorpediatrician and hopefully they can resolve this problem. If your parents have any questions, please have them reach out to me and I will respond as quickly as possible. Good luck and best wishes, always.
