Are cheek implants better than fillers?

I want to change the shape of my cheeks. Are cheek implants better than fillers?

From the long term affect that fillers can cause, therefore they would appear to be better. However, fat is best.
There are risks and benefits to both. Cheek implants can be a great way to accentuate the face without having to have repeat treatments every 9-12 months. They are not easily reversible and carry a higher risk of infection. Filler can be reversed and tailored at each treatment, but require repeat administration and carry the risk of intravascular injection. Both are very operator dependent.
If your natural cheek structure lacks appealing contours and angles, I may recommend cheek implants to improve the overall balance of your facial features. A variety of materials are used for Cheek Implants, and I can help you understand the best option for you for your cheek augmentation. Sometimes the cheeks can also be filled up with a hyaluronic filler to give the patient an idea of the impact a Cheek Implant can have. One option or the other can be a better choice depending on the patient's features or goals.
