I want to get implant fixed dentures. Are implant-fixed dentures long-lasting?

Implant-fixed dentures can be long-lasting and provide excellent stability and functionality when properly cared for. With proper oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups, implant-fixed dentures can last for many years, even decades. The lifespan of implant-fixed dentures can vary depending on factors such as the patient's oral health, the quality of the implants, and how well they are maintained. However, they are generally considered a durable and reliable option for restoring missing teeth and improving oral function and aesthetics. It's essential to follow your dentist's instructions for care and maintenance to ensure the longevity of your implant-fixed dentures.
They are. The implants will preserve the bone. The comfort will be almost like your original teeth, the chewing ability will be important. You must MAINTAIN them very religiously, brush, water pick, frequency at dentist office for hygiene

Yes they are very long lasting but do not think just because they are implants or a denture, that you no longer have to come in for regular check-ups. There is maintenance attached to the implant denture, just as there is with "regular" teeth.
It's just like any other treatment you get done. There are a multitude of factors that can lead to success or to failure of the treatment. If everything is done right from the doctor's end (surgically and prosthetically) and everything is maintained correctly from the patient's end (following doctor's advise about hygiene maintenance, follow ups, not smoking, if diabetic then keeping this under check, etc), then these things should last for a very long time if not the entire lifetime of a patient
