Neurologist Questions

Are these lesions?

I’ve been suffering from various neurological symptoms for a while. Lots of intermittent numbness & tingling, electric shock type pain, severe fatigue, memory issues, dizziness, tremors and more. 6 years ago my right hand was paralyzed and numb for 3 months. No injury, I had no insurance at the time so no mri, I never found out the cause. Recently, I had an mri, but the doctor didn’t look himself, only read the report that stated “ventricles within normal limits, no white matter changes and no evidence of hydrocephalus” I do not agree with any of that and now feel let down by my doctor for refusing to take a look himself. I’m a 39 year old woman and honestly have MS like symptoms. I’m not saying that’s what it is, but something is definitely wrong and I believe I see possible “lesions” on my mri. Please help.

Yes, it does look like there could be abnormal activity in the brain. I f you are close to an MS center it would be wise to see them with a copy of your MRI fillms Leon Rosenberg
Your intuition is very good. Certainly there is some white matter disease. While MS is a likely possibility  other disorders need to be ruled out. I would suggest you see a Neurologist and have a thorough and detailed consultation and possible further testing to determine what exactly is going on and start adequate treatment.  Don't spend any more time trying to sort this out by yourself and or with your doctor,  that seems to not be getting to the bottom of the problem. You won't believe how many reports I've seen stating exactly what you're saying and then I evaluate the images and there is something disturbingly abnormal. In fact, despite the images of your scan you posted being small for my old eyes, I can still point out a few not normal things. You are more than welcome to contact us at hopeneurology.net and we can try to help.
