First of all, this is not something that could affect the brain, because it is outside of the skull. I think you need to see a dermatologist or your family doctor and decide whether it is best to remove it (a minor procedure under local anesthetic), or just leave it to go away on its own. Until you see them, cleaning it with rubbing alcohol twice or 3 times a day would be best. Leon Rosenberg

There are medications that may help to reduce the pain. A Neurologist would typically be the one to pursue this problem. Leon Rosenberg

Depression in teen years is extremely common and extremely serious. Besides the suicidal thoughts , it can cause weight loss and weight gain, poor sleep, trouble with concentration. Even if you are not suicidal, a suicide hot line can be very helpful. Also finding someone you trust to talk to confidentiality is absolutely essential. Dont keep your thoughts a secret. A priest or minister, a school counselor or a sympathetic teacher can help you work through your situation and help you come up with a plan. Please dont keep this a secret. You have a long life ahead of you, and things that have happened up to now dont have to prevent you from having 60, 70 or more happy years ahead of you. Leon Rosenberg

Yes it will likely be absorbed. This can take months to occur, and usually a CT scan is done periodically to monitor the progress. A second concern is for you, any siblings you have and any siblings of your mother: it is recommended that all first degree relatives of a patient with cerebral aneurysms be screened for the possibility that they may have an aneurysm also. Usually this is done with an MRI, and no dye injection is needed. Leon Rosenberg
