At what age can children receive the flu vaccine?

I took my young daughter to a clinic, and they said she was too young. How old does a child have to be to get the flu vaccine?

the youngest age for a flu shot is 6 months.
Children can start getting the flu vaccine at 6 months. It must be given as a split dose the first time you child is vaccinated.
