“Ativan advice?”
My psychiatrist put me on Zoloft and Ativan for my anxiety disorder and OCD. The Ativan I have been on for five weeks. 0.5mg tablets. I'm supposed to take 1mg at bed. I cut back to 0.5 at bedtime. The plan is to keep me on it for 4 more weeks until the Zoloft 50mg fully works. After reading online about Ativan I’m scared to death I’ll get addicted. Is it common at my dosage to become addicted?

I would say, trust what your doctor is suggesting. The deal is, if you do become dependent your doctor will ween you off so no discomfort happens.

lYou will not get addicted on a half mg once a day. Try to stop worrying.
