Chiropractor Questions

Back pain for 2 months

Having a pain in the right side of my back in the middle of it for about 2 months now. I’m not sure if it’s muscle related but the length is worrying me. I have a 1 year old which I pick up often and when I hold him on my left side, my back hurts on the right side. Also hurts while at rest. Seems to hurt less in the morning time when I wake up. Curious which doctor I should see about this?

Find a good chiropractor who can adjust and show you how to manage your hip flexor.
I would recommend seeing a Chiropractor for that. Chiropractic treatments are very effective with back pain. What you explained is a very common thing that we see and help with in our office and in most Chiropractic offices.

Chiropractor.
I would start with a Doctor of Chiropractic. This scenario is not unusual among people with young children. If you hold your child on the left, the muscles on the right must engage to counterbalance the weight on the left. If this didn't happen, people would topple over. I would say
there is reasonable medical certainty that muscles are involved. You must also consider the stress of the structures these muscles are attached to; the pelvis, ribs, and spine. If these structures become fixated (they don't move properly), then it can become a chronic situation. Muscles "hate" fixations of their supportive structures and can become painful and spasmodic.
Hi, you most probably strained your back muscle. You need to get physiotherapy and realign you spine.
Your local Chiropractor would know how to help you with this
I am sorry you are hurting. Since you have been hurting for a while I would suggest it is possibly spinal related and not muscular. I would recommend that you see a chiropractor for analysis to determine the best course of treatment for you. Also if it hurts more when bending and lifting it could be a disc problem. You really should get it checked out.

Without knowing your full health history and family history of heart disease and cholesterol. I would recommend seeing your primary physician first to help resolve any worries you may have. I lean towards the side of caution as you probably know your body best and if there are any concerns, it is best to address any serious health conditions sooner than later. Ruling out any of these conditions will only add to helping with assessing your condition and providing a better recommendation for treatment.
Go see your local Doctor of Chiropractic. Get a referral. Look up reviews to choose.
