Sometimes more fluid needs to be taken out of the abscess or the abscess may actually be spreading and requires an oral antibiotic. Best to get checked out again.
Not normal to be larger. Needs re-examination.
If the doctor recently drained an abscess and it is now larger then before then it is important to notify your doctor and let him re-examine you.
