Doctor Questions Colonoscopy

Bleeding 2 days after colposcopy

I had a colonoscopy apt 2 days ago and I've been bleeding since then. Looks a little bit like blood clots.

I would need to know if anything was biopsied or resected during the colonoscopy. It might be bleeding from the procedure or from hemorrhoids. See the GI doctor again if the bleeding doesn't stop.
Must check back with the OB doctor. Possibly the bleeding vessel can be cauterized in the office.
Hi. Hope you have seen your specialist and taken care of this already. Bleeding after colonoscopy can indicate complications arising from colonoscopy, biopsies or removal of polyps, or the presence of other colonic disease.
An ultrasound and/or sonohysterogram might help in evaluating the endometrial cavity (uterus lining). Most Radiology practices or OB/GYN practices can do this. Let me know if I can help you find the cause of the bleeding.
