Blood plasma transfusion?

Good morning doctor. What are the benefits of or why would a blood plasma transfusion be necessary for a Covid-19 patient?

COVID-19 convalescent plasma with higher levels of antibodies may be used to help people diagnosed with COVID-19 who are immunosuppressed, or their immune system is inadequate to combat the virus. The benefits are the fact that transfusion of COVID-19 Convalescent plasma was associated with a decrease in mortality compare with a control group who didn’t take the vaccine. If you have been vaccinated, even if you get the virus, the disease is going to be mild in comparison with the beginning that people didn’t have immunity. Now a days, COVID is like the Flu but stronger, and yearly there is going to be a different type of vaccine. This is since a virus changes their generic code and maybe the vaccine you took a year ago is not efficient in forming antibodies against the restructured virus. If you are immunosuppressed, it may be beneficial. Thank you
If you are referring to the antibody transfusion, the hypothesis is that the antibodies given can fight off the virus.
