What does it mean when your blood results says “equivocal polycythemia”?

You have a slightly elevated erythrocyte count and haematocrit. Your haemoglobin is normal. That is why they are reporting equivocal polycythemia. I do not believe it is a significant problem for you and could be secondary to dehydration. If you are concerned you could talk to a haematologist.
