“Blood test question?”
I've had a blood test done the results are not back yet but the doctor wants me to have a second one done why is that?

The results were maybe borderline or unusual. The doctor may fail to disclose tests results for multiple reasons. One reason could be that he simply forgot to call you. Sometimes test results can bel lost or confused along the chain of communication in a hospital. If the result is sufficiently abnormal to cause any immediate concern the doctor will contact, you themselves. Looking for potential causes such as viruses, problems with the immune system and rare conditions. Maybe the results don’t match with the clinical history and many more reasons. Thank you.
