Brain ct

I’ve been having headaches for 3 weeks. Some numbness in right elbow and nausea. I had a ct done of my brain at the er and they said it was was clear. Would they overlook a brain tumor? Would an mri show a tumor that a ct wouldn’t?

Most brain tumors large enough to cause headaches would be seen on a CT scan. It is not typical of brain tumors to present as headaches. They are more likely to present with a loss of function ( blindness, paralysis, loss of speech, or to cause an epileptic seizures).
Highly unlikely that a tumor was missed. Also a tumor can present with headaches and numbness but usually much more broad than just the elbow.I suggest you talk to your primary,  psychiatrist or Neurologist for a detailed history and examination to determine a more likely possibility.  Good luck.
