“Buttocks problem?”
This is super embarrassing but I’m concerned. For the past week, my butt muscles have been contracting rapidly and it’s not painful, just irritating. The feeling is similar to when your eye is jumping. I haven’t changed my daily lifestyle in any way, nor am I having anal sex.

This sounds like spasm of the gluteal muscles. This is not a GI problem so I am not the right type of doctor to help with this. It is also not usually a dangerous problem - it could just be strain of those muscles. A basic work up by your PCP or a neurologist might help figure out why it is happening.
