Can I chew gum with dental implants?

I am a 33 year old male. I want to know if I can chew gum with dental implants?

It’s better to wait until implants are fully integrated into the bone before putting too much load on them. Usually about 7-8 months after the bone graft.

If you have porcelain or zirconia crowns and bridges, you certainly can chew gum. If you have implant supported acrylic prosthesis, I would not recommend chewing gum.
