I will have colon resection surgery. Can I drink alcohol after colon resection surgery?

Once off of pain meds -yes
After the initial postoperative period of it is uneventful male no more than 2 drinks a day or female not more than one drink daily & never to excess
This is best answered by a surgeon, but at some point, yes, you will be able to drink alcohol after the surgery.
