“Can I exercise 1 month after hernia surgery?”
I had inguinal hernia surgery 1 month ago. Can I exercise one month after hernia surgery?

The general advice I would give to is 4-6 weeks and start with gentle exercises before you can progress
It is very dependent on the type of hernia repaired. When I perform robotic inguinal hernia surgery, I usually ask patients to avoid strenuous exercise for two weeks. If the surgery needs to be open, or it is a different type of hernia, the time to avoid exercise can be extended to six weeks in many cases.

You should be able to exercise after one month
Once you have been cleared by your surgeon you should be able to return to regular activity. For an uncomplicated hernia that should be after 4-6 weeks.
