Can I wash my face with contact lenses on?

I am an 18 year old male. I want to know I can wash my face with contact lenses on?

Sure . Obviously close your eyes so you won't get soap in etc. Sometimes easier to just remove contacts at the end of the day and just cleanse.
No, you should not wash your face with contact lenses on. It's best to remove your contacts before washing your face to avoid getting water in your eyes. Tap water contains microorganisms that can contaminate your contact lenses.

Please consult with your eye doctor for specific advice on contact lens hygiene and care.
The short answer is no. Our tap water is not microbe free and microbes from that water can get into our eyes during face washing. Those microbes can stick to the contact lenses and reek havoc by leading to an infection. Best practice is to wash your face before your contacts go on in the morning and after your contacts come off in the evening.
Yes, that’s fine, just don’t rub your eyes.
No one product works for everyone, but I'd say that the majority of our patients would say that they wouldn't give them up after a week of use. I've found that the higher your distance prescription, the easier it is for you to get used to them. We try to set expectations, however, as nothing will give you those 25 year old eyeballs that we all miss :)
