Yes, you can definitely wear contacts if you have myopia or nearsightedness.
You should have your eyes examined fully in order to determine how much myopia is present and if there is any associated astigmatism present. Once you know this information, you and your eye doctor can determine what type of contact lens is best for you. There are daily, weekly, 2-week lenses, monthly, and quarterly available.
