Can Invisalign cause tooth pain?

I wear Invisalign and have tooth pain. Can Invisalign cause tooth pain?

Yes it is possible, seek a consult from a board certified orthodontist to give you specific information about your case.
In my 36 years of practice, I’ve never had a patient complain of pain wearing Invisalign. Now if the tooth has a cavity or something else wrong with it, see your general dentist for an evaluation.
You should have had a check up prior to starting Invisalign to make sure you didn't have cavities or severe gum disease. You may experience dull achy pain when you first start or when you switch trays. This is the initial pressure on your teeth for movement.
