Can a chiropractor help with ADHD?

My son is 15 years old and he has ADHD. Can a chiropractor help with ADHD?

As a father of 2 kids with ADHD, Chiropractic has helped them to decrease stress and anxiety. After they started receiving Chiropractic care, my kids started to sleep better, be more focused in school, and be responsive at the house. It is very important to decrease the amount of sugar intake, decrease the amount of time in front of a TV and video games. A good daily routine that includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner will help as well as having an established time to go to sleep.
Yes, it can! It has been seen to help reduce symptoms with occiput and neck adjustments. A chiropractor also trained in acupuncture is also beneficial.

Hope this helps!

Absolutely. Nutrition, exercise, and chiropractic adjustments can help with the sympathetic nervous system to calm the brain.
Unfortunately, there's no evidence to support that as far as I know.

When kids struggle with focus, behavior or sensory processing, it can be linked to weak connections across different regions in the brain. Chiropractic helps spinal function and spinal stability and does not treat brain connections. Although spinal adjustments can help improve spinal function it is not a treatment for ADHD.
Chiropractors can treat all conditions within their scope of practice. For ADHD they will likely give nutritional advice and recommend supplements.
