“Can a partial denture be attached to an implant?”
I want to get a partial denture. Can a partial denture be attached to an implant?

Yes, although each case where it is done involves some “engineering decisions” as to how much load it will take and what else is supporting the partial.
Normally not, yet it depends on the condition and how many teeth remain in your mouth and how many abutments the partial is going to be anchored to.
Yes, a partial denture can be fitted to attach to implants. This prosthesis will come in and out daily to brush your natural teeth and the partial.

Yes, they absolutely can, provided you have adequate bone for implant placement. There are attachments that go on the implant that allows the denture to snap on to it for stability. I recommend an evaluation by your dentist.

Studies have reported that the use of implants in conjunction with remaining natural teeth in the implant supported removable partial denture substantially improve oral health quality of life for patients compared to conventional treatment options with only natural teeth present.
As long as the implant is stable and the surrounding soft tissue is favorable, a partial can use a dental implant as an anchor.

Yes. The implant can be used as a way to secure the partial or the implant may have a crown that can be used as an abutment tooth for a partial.
