It can support other treatments. Just acupressure is unlikely to be effective.
Acupuncture and herbs are excellent for fatty liver, but there needs to be a multifaceted approach. First of all, a diet change is critical. Eliminating foods that contribute to fatty liver such as alcohol, red meat, processed foods, excessive pharmaceuticals that can compromise the function of the liver. Movement toward a vegetarian diet with high fiber would be beneficial. Second, regular exercise and decreasing visceral fat would be next.Through this journey, acupuncture and herbs to unstagnate, cleanse snd rebuild the liver will be essential. In Eastern medicine, a liver that is unhappy has a tendency to store repressed anger and resentment. Processing and releasing that anger by moving toward a more positive state of self-compassion and self-forgiveness will be critical in creating an healthier, wholesome, vibrant liver.
Yes, it is helpful but my recommendation is to combine with herbal medicine treatment.
Im not sure about acupressure. Acupuncture, however, can reduce imbalanced liver enzymes, as shown through patient post treatment labs. Diet and exercise must also be a consideration to make a true and lasting improvement.
