Absolutely! Roughly 80% of my 12,000 patients for which I was chosen as Too Doctor had back pain, much of which was sciatica. Approximately 91% of those received pain relief, and eventually dissipated altogether.
We start with 6 sessions at 2x a week for 3 weeks. Everyone responses differently to treatment but usually expect you to be 30-40% better by the 6th session. Then we will taper down to every other week, so on and so forth.

Absolutely acupuncture can treat sciatica. It's extremely effective for it.
Usually acupuncture is an excellent treatment choice for sciatic pain. Most of the time I can get these patients into a pain free space. Sometimes patients experience a reduction in pain that has to be maintained with periodic treatment.
