Thank you for your question. Yes, Acupuncture can help you with improving your body's balance in order to help you with getting pregnant. You can contact a licensed Acupuncturist that specializes in fertility in your area and get an Acupuncture consultation to learn more. Good Luck! Sincerely, Yours in Health!
Acupuncture has a good record in research for benefiting pregnancy. There is about a 67-73% increase with the use of acupuncture, and that increase also works for in-vitro chances as well. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the main focus is to concentrate on a regular menstrual cycle flow to keep things properly flowing. Then the treatments would focus on the current stage of the cycle. When the flow is proper for a couple of good cycles then the couple can concentrate on procreating. There is even acupuncture for mommy & baby once you’re pregnant. Check with your primary & OB/GYN to make sure you would be a good candidate for alternative medicine & best wishes!

Absolutely! Acupuncture can definitely help with fertility, and also during pregnancy for such things as morning sickness. Hope that is helpful!

Acupuncture has very good record helping in woman’s health. Depending on the case, acupuncture can help you to regulate menses, support pregnancy, prepare for IVF, and helps in the reduction of several conditions that conduce to female and male sterility.

For many women and men, infertility may be a result of an imbalance, whether caused by hormones or stress. Acupuncture is about restoring balance and overall health and wellbeing. It involves the insertion of very thin, sterile needles into strategic points in your body, called acupuncture points. Stimulating these points, or pathways, is believed to correct any imbalance in energy, or chi. Studies have shown that acupuncture can help:
Regulate the menstrual cycle
Balance hormones
Improve blood flow to the reproductive organs
Improve sperm count and motility
Decrease risk of miscarriage
Reduce stress and anxiety
Improve the chance of pregnancy in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF)
There’s also evidence that acupuncture can help with some medical conditions that affect fertility, such as polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis and fibroids. But the biggest benefit may be its effect on stress and anxiety.

In my experience, yes acupuncture can be very effective in helping a person get pregnant. Also, certain lifestyle changes are helpful as well, like avoiding cold and raw food as well as cold drinks. In my experience, acupuncture has often proven to be effective with all sorts of issues around reproduction for both women and men.
Yes and no - It depends on what is wrong. I have helped many women get pregnant. Most men will not come in for treatment and many times it is the man who needs the treatment because the sperm count is too low. Many men and women are just out of balance energetically. Someone's herbs are needed in addition to the acupuncture treatment. It is a complicated process. There are some specialist acupuncturists who give treatments just before and after artificial insemination which increases the likelihood of the process being successful. So one must see an acupuncturist and see if they have had any success, there are some who specialize in this treatment. I am not a specialist in this area but have had training. I tell my patients we will know within 3-months if my treatments worked. If they do not work I will refer you to a specialist. So far I have not had to refer anyone.
Yes, acupuncture can assist with fertility! It can help regulate hormones and menses, as well as increase the lining of the endometrium to increase the chances of pregnancy. Your acupuncturist can guide you through your fertility journey by offering diet, herbal and lifestyle recommendations.

Yes! Acupuncture can definitely help you get pregnant and has been well researched for fertility and in particular, for helping IVF treatments be more successful.
The science shows that acupuncture can help with fertility issues. A lot will depend on why a person is experiencing a fertility problem. I typically suggest that both partners start with a complete reproductive health workup. Issues can present on both the male and female side and be due to things ranging from hormonal to structural. You want to know where you're starting.
Fertility is one of those areas where patients need to make sure they're seeing a board certified, state licensed acupuncturist rather than a provider who is offering 'acupuncture-like' services under the scope of some other practice license (like a chiropractor or physical therapist). It can also be helpful to see someone who specializes in reproductive medicine. NCCAOM.org has a 'Find a Practitioner' lookup that allows patients to find local board certified providers. If you want someone who specializes in reproductive medicine, go to ABORM.org and use their 'Find a Practitioner' lookup.
