Hello, my name is Nara. I’m a member of Dr. Pabarue’s team of vein specialists. We recommend only FDA-approved treatment for varicose veins, performed by board-certified vein doctors. Acupuncture has not been proven to aid in the removal or treatment of varicose veins. Varicose Veins are an external sign of a medical condition known as vein disease, which is progressive in nature, meaning it will worsen over time if left untreated. Vein treatment options vary from 100 non-invasive (for spider veins) to minimally-invasive (for spider and varicose veins), and can be completed in 30 minutes in our vein clinics. All of our treatments are FDA-approved, and our doctors are highly trained in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (a symptom of which is varicose veins). We’re happy to help you find solutions.

Yes, acupuncture can help varicose veins. I suggest you try acupuncture, it may help you a lot, before I treated a patient who had shoulder pain i acupuncture her a few times, her varicose veins gone away.
Possibly acupuncture may help. Otherwise I'd seek out a Vein clinic to explore all options.
There are techniques for treating spider veins, but you'd have to check with your local acupuncturist to see if they can treat varicose veins.
Hello, This would depend on the stage that the veins are in. If it is early stage, then acupuncture may be helpful. In later or severe stages, you would need to consult with a physician.
If you're experiencing pain or discomfort related to your varicose veins, yes, acupuncture can probably help. If you're looking for acupuncture to help with the more cosmetic issues that sometimes accompany varicose veins, maybe. I've worked with pain due to varicose veins and, at the end of a series of treatments, the varicosities themselves have shrunk. In my experience, this doesn't happen every time.
