Acupuncture can help with the pain.  However, this is a structural problem.  I would also recommend seeing a chiropractor and an orthopedist.
YES.
Yes, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine can help with almost any pain. We can also help improve range of motion, if you have limitations from the herniation. We also have topical formulas that help relieve pain as well, and herbal formulas to help speed recovery. - Glenn
The short answer is yes. First the spine must be stretched out to try and pull the herniated disc back in pace as much as possible. For this you many need a Physical Therapist or a Chiropractor. They have the proper equipment to do this. Then use acupuncture with herbs. The acupuncture will reduce the pain, combine with elector stimulation to help the nerves, and the herbs to nourish the disc. The discs flatten with age which causes the herniation. The herbs will send more blood to the area and the disc will regain some of its fluid volume and them stay in place easier.
Acupuncture can help modulate pain but it can not help heal the structural damage caused by a disc herniation. A chiropractor who performs acupuncture would be the best doctor for your condition.
I think so. Herniated disc's have responded well to treatment in my experience.
Acupuncture is effective in providing pain relief for herniated disc symptoms, depending on the severity of condition treatment may include other modern modalities like infrared therapy, cupping and Asian bodywork to reduce inflammation. Consultation with an acupuncturist is crucial for a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan.

Yes. Acupuncture with massage and herbs can help you out gradually. You should get these modalities 2-3 times a week for 4-8 weeks in a row to take care of this problem.
We will exam 1st. Then provide dry needling 1st. Patients will find instant results in general.
Depending on patients’ medical histories and conditions, each patient will have different responses. Patients will have to follow up in 3-7days depending on severity.
Patients will be examined again on how much difference they have experienced since the initial acupuncture treatment.
Then we can give patients a plan for symptomatology.
If we find limitations in improvements, we will apply different plans as a holistic approach.
