Can antidepressants make you sleep a lot?

I am a 27 year old male. I want to know if antidepressants can make you sleep a lot?

Some antidepressants are quite sedating. If you have been sleeping more than you want to, check with your prescriber. First, he or she should check if excessive sleeping could be caused by something else. If the antidepressant is the likely cause, he or she should discuss with you an alternative. Bupropion, for instance, does not cause sedation.
It depends on the antidepressants. Most modern Antidepressants are SSRIs which do not cause drowsiness.
