My daughter is overweight. Can childhood obesity be prevented?
1 Answer
Yes childhood obesity can be prevented, There are 2 areas where you can prevent it the most as a parent. One area is simply watching your child's diet and having nutritional food that has a lot of fruits and vegetables, lean protein, And careful use of starches which means using more whole grains and less simple sugars. The 2nd biggest thing is to have a child that's active, playing outside is the number one thing that a child can do to stay active and any type of sport activity is fine. But they need to get off the couch and away from the game Gadgets. The more active the child is the less concern about watching the amount of the food because they'll just burn With activity appropriately. Also exercise improves balance, strength, coordination, Is gastro intestinal activity, Teenage girl menstruation activity, and mental health. Another thing that people often forget about With respect to childhood obesity is A mother should also watch their own weight while pregnant with said child , A mother who has gestational diabetes puts their child at greater risk for childhood obesity Even as early as infancy. So overall family health and worrying about proper diet and exercise is a good thing.
