I want to get LASIK surgery. Can eye LASIK damage my eyes?

Yes, there are always risks with any surgery including LASIK. This may include hazy or blurry vision, difficulty with night vision and/or driving at night, scratchiness, dryness and other symptoms of dry eye, glare, halos or starbursts around lights, light sensitivity, discomfort or pain, and small pink or red patches on the white of the eye. If you are considering this eye surgery, discuss all of the pros, cons, and long-term effects that may occur with your ophthalmologist/refractive surgeon.
