Medications can help manage insomnia in the short term, but they don't fix the underlying causes. Long-term solutions often involve lifestyle changes and therapy.
Hello,
The problem with insomnia is that many different things can cause or contribute to it. I like to get to the root of the issues. ie: life stressors, chronic pain, nightmares, stimulates (soda, coffee, alcohol) .I have patients that have insomnia because they hate their jobs and feel as soon as they go to sleep, they have to go back. It is a wide range of could be issues, that need to be addressed one at a time, to understand what exactly is the cause.
