Yes, with treatment and coping strategies. If you have any further questions or need more clarity, please consult with a psychiatrist. If you`re in Texas, we welcome you to reach out to www.MidCitiesPsychiatry, we`re here to help you.

Of course they can. It was helpful to understand what triggers these events so that you could become proactive about avoiding them.
Yes, they can! And you have the power to cause that. Here are several techniques to help you: 1) Focus all of your attention on your breathing, and allow it to slow until you are breathing deeply. 2) imagine that you are breathing into your belly button, and when you are full of air, hold it for a few seconds before exhaling slowly, taking at least twice as long to exhale as you did to inhale (so you don't hyperventilate). 3) Sing or hum to yourself, or use any other method to activate your vagus nerve, which naturally calms your nervous system. 4) Identify what is triggering your fear, and just say "NO!" to fear by moving in any other direction. Blessings of success to you! Dr. Katie
Yes they do go away with work. Typically panic attacks are a symptom of internalizing stressors. Start externalizing as much as possible. (I.e., Talk to friends & family. Journal. Exercise, hobbies) . Sometimes our environment is a stressor , which can include friends and family so the best option would be to work with a therapist to not only help you externalize but also to help you change your environment and the ways you manage stress. Remember therapy doesnt help you get rid of stress (thats impossible) it helps you learn to manage stress.
