“Can you brush your teeth before dental anesthesia?”
I am a 23 year old female. I want to know if you can brush your teeth before dental anesthesia?

Usually, but don’t swallow anything. The risk is if anything is in your stomach you could vomit and get stomach contents in your lungs. There is normally a time limit for clear liquids (like water, coffee without creamer, etc.). In our practice, that is five hours. Your dentist can tell you what their limits are. Ask them.
