“Can you cure myopia?”

Myopia cant be cured but it can be treated. You can treat myopia with eyeglasses on tact lenses or refractive surgery such as LASIK. To try to prevent progression of myopia you should limit use of near vision use such as c ell phones and computer.

Unfortunately, you cannot cure myopia.  It can be temporarily corrected with eyeglasses or contact lenses.  Different methods can be used to try to stabilize or prevent the myopia from getting worse, you can also corrective surgery that will reduce or eliminate the need for corrective eye wear. However, when myopia is caused by an increase of the axial length of the eyeball, no surgery can correct for this increase in length.  This longer eye can be at increased risk of various disease and degeneration.
