Can you drive a car after heart stent surgery?

I will have heart stent surgery. Can you drive a car after heart stent surgery?

Generally, it is recommended to wait until at least next day before you start driving in order to allow all the medications given during the procedure to “wash out”. If the reason for the stent placement was a major cardiac event (like a heart attack or severe coronary artery disease), then I would strongly suggest discussing the timing of driving with your cardiologist.
Depending on the access to the heart if radial access "hand" then yes, if the groin access "legs" then two days break would be recommended.
