Yes you can.
There are many types and levels of “lazy eye” and each has specialized vision therapies we recommend. Sometimes in mild “amblyopia” wearing prescribed glasses can help neural development of the “lazy eye”. Other times children and even adults may show vision improvement from wearing glasses with scheduled patching of their better eye to practicing looking with their “lazy eye” when watching TV. In other cases, the doctor may recommend muscle surgery if one eye has a constant eye turn called strabismus. Make an appointment with your Optometrist to make the proper recommendations.
Yes after the age of 9 it is not impossible but it is virtual.
There is help with prisms , eye exercises , amd strabismus surgery , and glasses
You may be able to straighten the eye surgically but unable to restore equal vision in both eyes. Please see an ophthalmologist that specializes in crossed eyes or strabismus to determine the best treatment for you.
The eye can be straighten wIth eye muscle surgery but any lost vision (amblyopia) will not be corrected. See a “pediatric ophthalmologist” who specializes in lazy eye (strabismus).
Only minimal improvement in vision can be expected. Nearly all patients this age and older , state that they didmt feel the improvement
