In a miracle world, wouldn't it be awesome if we could fix cavities with braces? Unfortunately, moving teeth and repairing teeth are two entirely different processes. So, no, you cannot fix your cavities with braces.
Yes you deband day of or few days before then reband after
Braces can only move the teeth. A cavity must be cleaned out and filled. Braces will not fix that, unfortunately.
It depends on the location where the cavity is. In the worst case scenario, the wires have to be removed and replaced after treatment is completed.
Yes teeth can be restored with braces in place. Sometimes we have to remove the wire to do.
Unfortunately, no. Braces are only used to help improve the actual position of your teeth or bite, but do not improve the existing condition of your teeth. Long term, if your teeth are in a better position and not crowded/misaligned then your teeth are easier to take care of and it may decrease your likelihood to get more cavities.
