I suggest you ask the clinician who will be administering the injection that question. Each practitioner may do things differently. Some providers will have patient notbtake their blood thinners for a few days in order to get the injection, to reduce the risk of bleeding.
Yes.A cortisone injection does not alter blood thinning but you might bleed a little at the injection site.
