Can you get a veneer after the root canal?

I will have a root canal and want to get a veneer. Can you get a veneer after the root canal?

You can, but usually after a root canal the tooth will darken, Porcelain Veneers, if done correctly do not change the color of the tooth dramatically so it is preferable to get a crown on a root canal tooth

Of course. It all depends on the remaining tooth structure, shade of the underlying tooth and other factors like occlusion(bite).
It is not recommended. The root canal is accessed through the back of the tooth. This creates a weak spot that must be covered. A full coverage crown is the best option. Not to worry the crown can be made from the same material as a veneer. Usually, it takes a combination of 6 veneers and crowns to properly create a cosmetic smile.
Yes! Depending on the structural status of the tooth after your root canal, you can have a veneer or crown completed on the toothy to achieve the strength and esthetics you desire.
It depends on which tooth you are getting the root canal. If it is front tooth, a veneer may be enough to protect it, but if it is a premolar or molar tooth, you will need a full crown.
