No. There is not cure for herpes. The treatment we currently have doesn't remove the virus from the blood. The virus stay in blood for life. There is no cure for herpes at this moment. Antiviral medicines shortens the outbreaks. Thank you.
No. HSV is one of a family of viruses which cause infection. You individually can't "remove" the virus, but if you have a normal immune system, it can react to keep it under control.
