“Can you take your baby to a speech therapist at 2 years old?”
My 2 year old baby barely says any words. Can you take your baby to a speech therapist at 2 years old?

Some children take longer than others to reach some benchmarks. However, if your child is experiencing other health issues is never too early to consult with a Speech Language Pathologist.

Absolutely. Find a pediatric speech language pathologist or a speech pathologist that specializes in early intervention. Not too early at all.

Definitely! Early intervention (before 3 years of age) is extremely important with regard to speech and language disorders. If your child is a "late talker" or you have concerns with their understanding of language, please see a local Speech and Language Pathologist. You can locate someone who is nationally licensed at ASHA.org/findpro
Best of luck.

A speech language pathologist would be able to assess whether there is a developmental speech delay or something to cause your child to speak later.
Yes, and I would call your local early intervention company for free services at that age!
