OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions

Can you test negative for chlamydia vaginally but test for it positively rectally?

I was recently tested positive for chlamydia both vaginally and rectally. This is not my first time vaginally but my first time rectally. I was cleared the first time I was tested for anything vaginally. Is it possible for rectal chlamydia to be undetected while testing if you've only tested for it vaginally?

Good question. Both should be positive or negative. Both have been used as a test. There may be some variance.
