“Changing from Effexor to Pristiq?”
I take 300 mg daily of Effexor. I need a change as not working as well. I have been given Pristiq - generic - 100mg. I am supposed to start by taking one Effexor 150mg and half of the 100mg Pristiq. There is no score line (although I have a pill cutter) but I read not to score due to time release. It would only be for one week than the second week one of each. I have been on Effexor for over 20 years so need to wean off. Does this sound accurate?
