Chest pain?

When I try to mow the lawn or jog and my heart rate gets elevated my chest over my heart hurts and I get shortness of breath. If I sit for a few seconds it stops only to do it again when my heartbeat gets elevated.

The symptom that you were describing might be angina pectoris. That should be a sign of a severely blocked coronary artery which is the blood vessel that brings oxygen to the heart muscle. This is a very common problem. If the symptoms are of recent onset this might be called unstable angina and could lead to a much higher risk of impending heart attack. I would definitely recommend that you immediately see your internist or better yet a cardiologist for further evaluation .
