OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Could I be pregnant despite having breakthrough bleeding?

I have a question. I have been on birth control for 2 weeks and I missed pills. I had unprotected sex on the first two days of missing my pill. Thje 2 days after missing my third pill, I began bleeding for 10 days (the bleeding ended on September 21st). My period was due to begin on September 27th, but I haven't started yet and I'm late. was the bleeding I experienced due to missing the pill an early period? and am I actually late on my period? Could I be pregnant?

You should get a pregnancy test. If it is negative, you should continue to use your pill as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Talk with your care provider if your bleeding is not settled.

Good luck,
