“Could sudden sweating be alarming?”
I am 39 years old and all of a sudden I am experiencing hot flushes and I break into sweat all of a sudden. This has happened twice in the past 2 weeks. Should this alarm me? I have a history of heart issues in my family as well.

Yes
Sometimes sudden sweats could be a manifestation of cardiac disease, mainly in females and diabetics. Would recommend a Cardiology evaluation, you may need to have a stress test.

It can be related to the heart specially if you have risk factors, but it can easily be also an endocrine problem. You should see your doctor and discuss further details.
