“Cyst under skin on arm?”
I’ve had a cyst type knot under my skin above bicep for years it has gotten bigger and within past few days started hurting to the touch and below it my skin is turning red. I have an apt on Wed 18th of August but would like an opinion if I should go to ER or if it will be alright til then.

Suggest you see a Dermatologist in consultation.
No need to go to the ER It may be a sebaceous cyst.
MRI region. Concerning of a lymphoma or leukemia. Bicep tendonitis/bursitis or sub muscular lipoma less likely. CBC would be prudent as well. I would question testosterone injection in this area w possible infection. Years is the difficult component.
