Fungal infection?

I have a fungal infection. I found out about it this year in January. I want to know what really causes it? is there a way to cure it permanently and if yes, what's the cure? fact is, it has even spread to my face and every time I get exposed to the sun it itches really bad. what should I do? Must I stop doing my normal daily care routine because now I have fungus on my face, what should I use instead? Please help.

Fungal infections have high recurrence rates because fungi are ubiquitous. Seeing a dermatologist can help you figure out which products would be best for you and establish a treatment plan as well as a plan for the times the fungus recurs.
This is more complicated. You need to be seen by a board certified dermatologist.

Hello,

You need prescription-strength medicine to cure it. A specialist dermatologist can help. Many countries don't need a referral to see a specialist dermatologist, especially for cosmetic care on the face.
Hi,

If it truly is a fungal infection (caused by various species of fungi), it has to be appropriately treated with oral +/- topical antifungal medications to cure it. There are other rashes that can flare up with sun exposure also, so it is important to differentiate. Please see a board-certified Dermatologist for evaluation and treatment.
Hope this helps.

Assuming that fungal infection is, in fact, the correct clinical diagnosis, it has been there quite a while and a more aggressive treatment is going to be required. A visit to a dermatologist is crucial to confirm the dx with a simple, non-painful test. A condition which has been present this long has most likely been self-treated.
